I know I’m months behind but I just watched this on my iPod and felt I needed to come over here and comment.

Dishwashers can do serious damage! My aunt did the same thing, except the thing took a chunk out of her leg - more than just underrated pain, also very gross. If they weren’t so damned convenient, I’d say that those death traps should be banned. I do hate hand washing dishes though… So, just be on the lookout, people.

I love that when kids hurt themselves they either scream hysterically or they’re like, “No, I’m cool. Thanks, Pops.” There seems to be no in between. Way to be a little man in training, baby Brendan.

I love the reinactment of Mike hitting his head, and as Ari mentioned, the hair bop! I remember thathome video from the show! I don’t know how many times my brother would rewind it and watch it over laughin harder each time…pretend I never admitted to that though. Anyway, I think Megan and Kerry told it best, “…and the landing was such that his feet actually touch the back of his head,”
“Good yoga move.”
You really did learn to overcome pain, didn’t you Brendan? You just sat there as if nothing had happened, as did your dad.

hitting the corner of the dishwasher door is TERRIBLE. i do it often so i consider myself a expert.Another underrated pain that I think I have my PHD in and that I rank higher then the dishwasher corner is jumping unto cold concrete barefoot.That is the worst!!!!!! And even with it’s excrutiating pain I still forget to NOT DO IT. It indeed, will be my downfall

Oh and if you’ve never felt the tingling pain of your feet hitting cold concrete….I knoW you’re curious but I feel it my mission to yell (in my darth- vader likness) “Noooooooo”

I was trying to open a package (Brendan’s) of Finding Nemo Fruit Snacks. And yes, I care more for my art than my children which is why I kept the camera running when Brendan did the face plant.

Brendan - How’d your ma feel about you physically assaulting the dishwasher door?
Mike - You sound like my mom. “I’m not 40!!! I’m 39!!!!” And were you eating fruit snacks? I was trying to tell during the slow motion as you so gracefully tripped (the hair bop was marvelous) over the dishwasher door, but I still can’t quite tell.

The famous BL slide clip! I’ve never tripped over my dishwasher door (maybe if I actually helped out with dishes I would) so I can’t say I know your pain. I have, however, stubbed my pinky toe on the edge of door frames and coffee tables too often in my life. Stubbing one’s toe is an underrated injury.
