You People Rule the Tube
By the time I was in seventh grade, I had seen my fair share of home video productions done by my Pops and my brother Matt, and damnit I wanted to get in the action. So it started with a Detroit Red Wings highlite tape, the first thing I ever edited. Then it escalated to making stop motion movies starring Jurassic Park toy dinosaurs. Then me and a few friends started filming our selves doing very stupid things. And the rest, as they say is history. As for the point of this revisionist history… I started getting into this video stuff because of my family, and I am forever grateful for that, so to think that our silly little show was a catalyst for some people to pick up a camera and start being creative is beyond flattering. So here’s to you guys… (There are some glaring omissions but i couldn’t post everything) |
